The setting of goals has been proven to be an effective key in achieving many great things in life. The fact is a written goal could be one of the greatest investments that you may make during your life. You could think of it as making a verbal contract with yourself; being written down gives you a visual method of seeing clearly the things that you desire to achieve. Indeed the idea of seeing pictures of yourself viewed as if you have already achieved the goal could be a very powerful tool to influence what is known as your subconscious mind.

Things That many people want

If you consider the things that most people want in life, you could find that there are a number of things that seem to come up often in the list. These could include good health, a happy life, a stable income, a good relationship to name just a few. Once a person has decided on the things that they want in life, the next task would be to work on a plan to achieve them. Let us look at these key things.

1. Good Health – This could be thought of as the most important thing that a person would want and need in life. Without good health it could be very difficult to achieve most things in life. Indeed during the time when health is not good, it may be difficult to do things like work or study. So having good health is very important and is something that you should not take for granted. Health could be said to be something that you have a great deal of control over. This is due to the fact that you are generally responsible for the food that you eat and the exercise that you do. So it could be said that you have the power to greatly influence your health.

2. Happy Life – There are a number of things that could be suggested that contribute to a happy life. Having a feeling of well-being could be one of the important factors. And to gain this feeling of well-being could be due to things like a good home life, a good work life, a good study life. living in a pleasant clean safe environment. Living free from stress; it could be suggested that stress is the cause of a great many illnesses. So happiness could be influence by many factors.

3. Stable Income – Having enough income and sufficient cash flow could be key to ensuring a pleasant happy life. One of the sad things is that in a desire to work and earn enough money can often lead to a poor work-life balance. If a person is spending all their time working they might not find enough quality time to spend with their family. One of the things that has been suggested by some people is to develop multiple streams of income. This means that you should look at how you can earn income from sources other than working.

4. Good Relationship – The fact with relations is that it takes two people to make a relationship work. So in-order to have a lasting relationship it may be important not to blame the other person but take full responsibility to ensure that it works.

One of the things that is of great importance in many areas of life, is the need to get to where you choose effectively. There are times when you will also want to enjoy the journey. So depending on the experience that you desire to have you will need to plan your journey accordingly. One important aspect of life which is sometimes overlooked is the need for a good “work-life-balance”. This can be so crucial as it could have a very great impact on your health. Two basic routes which exist when considering a journey could be said to be the “short route” or the “scenic route”. The short route is considered to be the fast route to get to your destination. The other option is known as the scenic route which is normally a much longer route but the view could be breath-taking, spectacular and thoroughly enjoyable. Your choice of route could be based on a number of factors. One of the most important considerations could be said to be time. Another could be said to be pleasure, so based on your requirements you will be in a position to work out your route. Money could also be a consideration as well as the experience you get from the journey. Also you may have money constraints, and this may heavily affect your choice of route.

The importance of good planning

Once you have thought about the considerations of your journey you will also need to ensure you make a good plan. The fact is that haphazard plans give you haphazard results, so it is crucial that you think carefully about your route and ensure that you understand each step of your route. This could involve going over the route in your mind, and also going over a written plan, until you are extremely clear that you know all aspects of your journey.

How often should you be thinking grateful thoughts during the course of the day? And is it possible to measure the effects of thinking thoughts of gratitude during the day? And how much gratitude do you need to have in-order to live a positive and rewarding life?

Is Food Like Gratitude?

The idea of power in gratitude could be something very useful to think about and consider. For example if you look at the fact that you need to eat food on a regular basis in-order to stay healthy, then it could be useful to think of gratitude like food energy.

In life it is important to have a good balance, you need to eat certain types of food to keep a healthy body. So you could also say that the mind needs to be balanced in-order to remain healthy and active. It could be suggested that the types of thoughts that you have on a regular basis could determine the type of results that you get in life.So if you were to have a certain number of thoughts of gratitude could this affect your outlook on life, and would this allow you to take beneficial actions? Indeed if having thoughts of gratitude could allow you to unconsciously take positive actions in your life, then that could be a good thing.

Your Gratitude plan

In science the measurement of results of actions is away of looking at how effective things are. By the same rule, you could conduct an experiment in your life to find out if gratitude can have a beneficial effect in your life. You could select two times during the day, in the morning and just before you go to bed, and think about 5 things that you are grateful for. Maybe you could write them down and meditate on them. It has been said that it takes around 30 days to develop a new habit, so you could try this for 30 days and see if it has made a positive impact on your life. Because if you get positive results by incorporating a conscious gratitude program in your life, this might allow you to live a more rewarding and happier life.

How do you feel when you are appreciated

It could be said that the feeling of appreciation might be said to be a very important and powerful food for your mind and soul. Indeed these thoughts may in-fact have the power to change and even transform your day; you might even find that it could have a greater impact upon your life. So it could be said that appreciation might be a mental food that could keep your mind and body in good shape, as it has been said that a healthy mind can lead to a healthy body.

Can gratitude be a useful way to achieving a better more rewarding life and a positive future? Indeed If you have the power to improve your life based on real thoughts of gratitude, then what things would you want to see in your life?

It could be said that everyday you are creating your life by virtue of every thought and decision that you make. Indeed you could be said to be the creator of your life. A useful thought could be, what are the things that you are grateful for in your life, and what things are you happy about. You could look at your life and see many things which are not going the way that you would want them to go. You could say that you do not have enough money or you have not got enough money to pay the bills. But can having gratitude for the good things that you have in your life experience bring changes into your life?

The Power of gratitude

It has been suggested that the way that you think could have a very important impact on your life. Is it possible that by focusing your thoughts on being grateful for every good thing in your life could have a wonderful powerful life changing effect on your life. An interesting question is how powerful are your thoughts? Yes how really powerful are your thoughts. What if you had the power to transform your life by focusing your attention on gratitude for the good things in your life? Well that could be quite a powerful gift. Indeed imagine if every time you spent time really thinking about how grateful you are for good things in your life you were able to really bring positive change in your life. That would be a very powerful ability to have, it could mean that as you felt the wonderful feeling of gratitude you would also have positive change.

Should you focus on the Problems or on Solutions

It was suggested that any thing that you focus on expands, and anything that you do not focus on gets smaller, this is based on a principle called the Law of Attraction. So could this infer that as you think about the problems in your life, they might actually be growing, is there any truth in that. If it is true then it may be a better idea to focus on the good things in your life. because if focusing your attention might cause things to grow in your life, then it could perhaps be best to focus your attention on the things that you desire to grow. It maybe useful to focus on the life that you are grateful for and the life that you desire to be living. Because perhaps by focusing your attention and time on the positive aspects may allow you to find positive solutions. Indeed, for example if we were to have the power to influence our environment, then it would be useful to consciously influence it in a positive way. What if your negative thoughts are actually influencing your environment, then that might explain why you get certain results.So if that is true then it might be best to focus on positive results that you desire.
